My name is Alla.

Currently, I am employed by a linguistic Institute as an English teacher.

I graduated from Teachers Training University in 2004, certified as a teacher of English and German. During my time in TTU I attended a summer course for advanced students at the Seattle Pacific University in 2002 and obtained a certificate in art and literature.

I have put my studies to good use as a professional translator and a teacher of English. I have worked closely with native speakers in a variety of professional settings, providing English to Russian and Russian to English translations. I have been offering individual lessons for 6 years, using various kinds of teaching techniques and working with students at many age and ability levels. I have also successfully trained children for the Russian State Exam (RSE or ЕГЭ)

Student feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as my students attest that I am demanding yet approachable. I craft my lessons to be as interesting, informative, and effective as possible. I tailor my teaching to each individual student according to his or her wants and needs.
